Barni Racing Team is a satellite team for Ducati Corse that has proud history as an independent team growing in success from the very beginnings in national championship to become on of the most important teams now at World Superbike. 

Barni Ducati squad mixes experience and youngsters in his lineup. Coming from the official Aruba.it Racing team, Álvaro Bautista is a double WorldSBK Champion capable of maximum competitiveness all year long. With him, Barni has a golden opportunity to revalidate the title of WorldSBK Best Independent Team. On his side, the Italian Yari Montella is a young talent that can be the next Italian SBK star. 

The team claims over 150 podium and 15 riders’ titles in different championships, thus making it the most successful Italian independent team in Superbike class. In fact, the team has impressive numbers in the Italian Superbike Championship (CIV) with 15 consecutive titles as best team in SBK class and winning the Supersport Italian Championship in 2022. 

Barni name is famous amongst fans thanks to its achievements in the international scenario of WorldSBK. The consecration for the squad was the 2018 WorldSBK Best Independent Team with Xavi Forés and since then Barni Racing has managed to repeat this feat both in 2024 and 2025 with Danilo Petrucci.

Growing strong, Barni fields now two Panigale V4 R for its two riders, Bautista and Montella, instead of having a single-rider entry; a sign of the crescent power of the squad inside the WorldSBK paddock.
