After two WorldSBK rider titles with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, ROKiT BMW Motorrad faces the hard task of keep being a title contender without the talent of the Turkish star. But for this tremendous challenge, the official team from BMW Motorrad Motorsport has managed to lineup two veteran riders of renown: the Italian Danilo Petrucci – formerly at Barni Ducati – and the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira arriving from MotoGP.

The ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team continues to represent the highest level of competition from the iconic German brand. The BMW M1000RR has shown its full potential, with two WorldSBK titles, a machine that initially struggled to perform in its initial phase but nowdays is considered a Superbike to recon both in World Superbike and national SBK championships.

BMW is fully committed to Superbike. The manufacturer has officially integrated its high-performance motorcycle range into the prestigious BMW M division. The 'M' badge, synonymous with success on four wheels, now extends its legacy to two, bringing cutting-edge racing technology from the track to the road.

This philosophy is embodied in the M1000RR, the first superbike developed by BMW’s M division. Since 2023, its traditional M Motorsport white has given way to the aggressive black livery of its sponsor: ROKiT BMW, a bold new look for a bold new era.

Since returning to WorldSBK in 2019, BMW Motorrad has relied on the British outfit Shaun Muir Racing (SMR) to fight at the top level of production-based racing. The partnership, which began in 2016 in the British Superbike Championship, continues in 2025 with the shared goal of bringing BMW back to the top step of the podium.
